When I was a little child, my father managed to a fairly big factory near my house, so I used to play with workers who came from other country. There were many foreigners among the workers and some workers were illegal workers in my memory. I have a positive image about them until now. I remember that most of them just want to earn money for sending to their families.

Actually, law regarding immigrants is important for our country and rule is rule, but it is difficult to decide how to control them easily. Some people concerned about what they did. In their opinion they made lots of problem which is kind of crime. Also their volume in korea will be increase because korea economy will be steadily increasing in the future, so they insisted that improving regulation and prohibition was reasonable choice for our nation. However I don’t agree with that. The first reason is that korea has a strong stereotype against developing countries people. Some people in korea look down on the people, so they believe foreigners come from developing country make dirty things here and they have possibility of involving crime. It is perfectly misunderstand. There are lots of Korean people who are working other country such as Canada, Austrailia, USA etc. Also, many people suffer from prohibited right as long as they are just illegal labors in other country. Secondly, those who are going to graduate university soon almost don’t want to work in the factory. It’s not just wage or salary. Most student don’t want to be a blue color labor, so mostly fairly big factories are filled with immigrant people, and they have Korean dream like us 30 years ago. We don’t ban the people and have authority of cut off the dream. We should help them.

World society is getting more and more unite in these days, and many countries go into multicultural society. Also they are preparing the next step for the future. Simply, improving regulation and prohibition can’t solve these problems. Nobody can defend the natural flows. We can find out solution of harmony in korea. Let’s get started it!

About korea as a donor

After there was a big battle in 1953 in korea, korea was one of the poorest countries. To rebuild the nation korea government ask the fund to alliance at that time. Providing a loan and supplies certainly contributed to rebuild economy like present day. From 1963 we started to provide something for other countries as a donor. At first we invited people who came from other nations to teach various skills. After about 20 years, korea made funds self-supported to help them. It was an important year for starting donation country truly. After that, though there was many economic crisis in korea during about 20 years, ODA volume reached one thousands billion won in 2010. KOICA which manage the project regarding donations to other countries has 27 branches at other countries and OECD report analyze that increase rate of ODA is one of the highest among other countries.

However, Providing ODA can have an adverse effect on the people naturally. Firstly, many recipient countries have suffered strong corruption, so money and supplies don’t reach to normal people. Corruption is able to cut the flow of supplies to people who really want to receive help. Thus, many people living in korea state that it is meaningless until developing country change their distribution system. Secondly, providing something steadily can make people to be getting more and more dependant. One Africa country is living to depend upon another for help about 70%. It can break their self-surviving capacity like a plant in the glass house. Of course, present amount of ODA is not enough for them to keep living their life. However, above two reasons, it can make hard to think providing donation easily. For example, present administration has tough stance toward north-korea because there are some political reasons, but above this most people in korea don’t believe that supplies which are made by us flow to normal people. It might be the main reason why we were able to agree to provide something to north sides easily.

Hence, it is difficult to supply ODA to other countries simply, but we were one of recipient country in the world. That fund such as ODA is certainly part of contribution to rebuild korea as much as present. We can make solutions whenever as long as we try to find solutions. Helping other people is duty as a human. Therefore, korea don’t stop to make the fund for other countries. We mustn’t forget what they did.

Can NEAT be a national test?

 When I was in high school, I was able to get a good grade from English test, so I thought that I was good at English. However I was shocked after I had gone abroad to study English in foreign country. Many people who I talked didn’t understand what I say because my pronunciation was really bad. After I realized that, I had to study English pronunciation again. These problems are caused by korea’s system of English education. It’s difficult for the system to help students to improve their English skills. SAT is present system which requires reading skills from students, but NEAT is a new test system. It might be a national test soon.

 There are some reasons why we should change from SAT to NEAT. First, present system is not enough for students to improve their real English skills. I think that a language is not academic thing. It is conversation skills. To learn English as a language, we have to do writing, listening, reading as well as speaking. Although most students in korea have been studying English for a long time, they can’t try to talk with people from other country when they meet them. Neat is included writing and speaking section. It goes without saying that it can help student’s English skills. Secondly, problems of private academy are serious problem in korea. Government said NEAT can solve this problems and it can change student’s parents mind which don't believe public education. Also they say It will be main English test instead of TOEIC test. To get a high grade in TOEIC test, many people have to spend lots of money and this money flow to other country. It can decrease cost problems in private academy market.

 Finally, Korea government decide to change present english test. I think many people already agree with these changes because they aren't satisfied with present english test system. Most students have been studying for a long time, we have studied english until now On the other hands, If we changed from SAT to NEAT, it would happen other problems certainly. However, i can insist that NEAT is better than SAT for english.

Is working holiday good opportunity or not?

 Last year i took the airplane to go to austrailia because i had gotten an opportunity of visiting there. I had already received an working holiday visa before i got there. As soon as i arrived in sydney, I had to start working immediately. I started to work as an painter for about 4 months. While i was working there, i felt that my owner gave me lower wage than other labors like that i bacame an exploit labor. However,during staying there, i could meet many foreign freinds and experience other culture easily and study english as much as i expected. Also many people said that there are lots of reason why we should get an opportunity of going abroad through the system of working holiday. The system has both sides positive and negative.

 Positive side is largely divided into 3 points. First we can get an opportunity of studying language easily. If you want to meet foreigner to study language skills in korea, it's certainly hard to meet them. To improve our language skills, meeting foreiners is very important, so if you're in other nations you could get a chance of living and working with them easily. It goes without saying that it's the best method of improving your skills. Secondly, we can make lots of money compared with korea. In austrailia, they normally give 15 dollars per hour. It is 3 times higher than korea. Although it's not easy for people who just come to austraila to get a legal wage, many people are just satisfied with earning money more than korea. The third reason is that working holiday visa is the easiest method of going abroad to work, study and experience. If you want to go abroad to study or live there, it's so difficult more than your thought. However, you can go abroad easily through working holiday visa. Also spending money to get the visa is low.
On the other hands, these systems have problems. First people who come from other nations are always exposured dangerous situation regarding to crime such as fraud and tax. For example, Some articles show that Some owner is trying to deceive to earn lilegal money in Hen house. Secondly, like that It's not easy to get  legal wage during working like an exploit workers and it's even normal situation on the present day.

 At the last class, we dicussed about solutions of this problem, so we thought that korea government have to ask to other government which are proceeding working holiday that they make their regilations more strong to imrove their right of people. Also korea government have to give guide line, before people leave from our nation. However, we totally agree with this opnion. It's up to person. If they have clear objective, they are able to overcome the situation and get the success which they want.

My opinion about the tuition fee for university

One of my friends told me that he paid his university tuition fee over 500 hundred won last year. To save the money he always worked many places for a long time. Also he felt that it was difficult for him to earn this money. On statistics about tuition fee for universities show that korea have been the highest rank about that in the statistics.

Saving the money for university fee is almost impossible for normal students. If they want to earn the money, they have to partially give up studying their major in their universities. Students who are working during the semester normally work on the weekend, so they always feel a shortage of time to spend studying about their studying during the semester. What’s more, it’s so difficult to earn about 500 hundreds won on their own. Secondly, the policies of tuition finance make student   incredible debtor. Many analysts have been saying that debtors regarding to tuition fee are getting more and more increased. If you take the loan from the bank, you have to pay back interest over 7%. When you first see this number, you might think that it’s small number. However if you took the loan as a debtor, you wouldn’t feel that it’s easy to pay back the money. After some people suicide due to this problem, one party have demonstrated for cutting off the tuition fee. Although demonstration has been looked failed, they don’t want to stop doing something about that because it’s serious problem in korea.

Although I have paid my tuition fee using taking a loan from the bank, I have struggled to pay back my money. It goes without saying that this problem can’t be considered other people’s problem simply. If government wants to keep a good societies , they have to think over tuition fee.

It cannot be avoid.

 <How about Audition program>

  If you turn on the TV on the weekend, you can easily watch some audition program. However, as you continue to change Tv chnnel, you can evenly see the same program like that as well. Likewise, we live in real audition world. There are lots of competitions in the real wolrd. Also it makes people  more competitive. After coming up all over the world, Audition program have been made by many countries.
It has many advantage as well as disadvantage.

 Last thursday, other students did the presentation about that. they said that it has both sides which we can expect easily. Some people think that it can give people chance of being a star on TV, because any body can join the competition without any permissoin. Also it is hard for people to be a star through an talent agency, so the program easily make people show their talent more than other methods. Secondly, they have dramatic story which we can feel like our neighbor, it doesn't look like imaginary cinderella story. It looks that their own story is not far from us. Therefore, it can make us moved easily more than other program.
On the other hand, many problems have already happend due to this format. Privacy problem is the most important thing in audution program. applicant in the program can't be defend from other people. Although they already agree with the contract regarding to their privacy, this fact doesn't make privacy problem reasonable. What's more, it's getting more and more worse and some applicant run away from audition place due to this problem during the audition.

 Likewise, Audition programs always seriously have problems, but it is certainly that those who have a dream of being a star can get their dream easier than other method. Also we can find many talented people more than before. Perhaps, to exactly know about that, we have to keep watching the audition program.

Evaluate Mr.Ahn 10/17 -tae jun-

 <About Mr. AHn>

  I’d like to talk to you about Ahn chul-soo syndrome. He is just a dean in convergence science and technology in seoul national university. However from 9/1 he has been the most important person in political situation. Also some people believe that he became the next president in korea. Who is Mr. Ahn?

  Before we start to know detailed Mr. Ahn life, we have to know the syndrome of Ahn. On 9/1 one newspaper dispatched a exclusive article including about Mr. Ahn on the internet. They said ‘Mr. Ahn is deeply considering joining competition of an election of seoul’s mayor. The fact soon spreads out all over the country through a SNS network. After 2 days he already decided to take part in election of mayor of seoul city and then Jung-ang news paper with Gallup finished the survey of who’s the next mayor of seoul. Please look at this graph. As you can see Mr. Ahn got a point far more than other candidates. Most news paper said that he has the best possibility of mayor of seoul. However there was a person who makes Mr. Ahn concerned. His name is Park won-soon , he originally wanted to take part in  the election before Mr. Ahn decided to do that. So he started to deeply consider cooperation with Mr. Park. Finally on 9/6 he announced that he decided to cooperate with Mr. Park and give up to be candidate in the election. The reason why he didn’t do is that he agreed his ideology and he has already known for a long time.

After they finished a public interview, it seems that what he does is just happening. However, it didn’t finish. Some people believe that he is the next president in korea.

We can find many information from him and summarize his life simply to 3 things

The first is his career. His careers show that he have studied for a long time and had many degrees. Also now he is dean in seoul national university. This fact makes people believe him as a credible scholar.

Second is V3. V3 certainly make him popular. Because before he made this vaccine, there was no this kind of program in korea. Therefore, he is the first inventor to make vaccine. Also he ran into a vaccine business successfully. After he even resign his company in order to go abroad to try new study, Most people in korea have used this program.

Last thing is that there is no political experience by Mr. Ahn. We were able to find out his careers and prize lists from the internet. We couldn’t find that he did political things because he has never been an politician in his life as if many news paper said. So he doesn’t have political background and experience.

Like that he is the most important person in political field. Also there are lots of reason why people want him to be a president in korea. However we don't judge

yet that he is adapted as a president, so we should think over his qualification of candidate as a president.
